This policy covers talentcurlew.com, which is operated by TalentCurlew in Ulverstone, Tasmania. TalentCurlew lists home-based part-time roles and passes applications to the businesses that offer them; the business, not TalentCurlew, is the employer. You can write to TalentCurlew at careers@talentcurlew.com. TalentCurlew follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Two kinds. First, what you type into the application: your name, mobile number, email address, the role you chose and anything extra you decide to add, with required fields clearly marked. Second, the WhatsApp message you send the TalentCurlew HR team, which shows your WhatsApp display name, your number and whatever you wrote. If you email TalentCurlew, we also receive your email address and message.
Yes, the routine details any website receives: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. The TalentCurlew hosting provider keeps these to operate and protect talentcurlew.com, and TalentCurlew does not link them to applications.
If a required field is empty, TalentCurlew may not be able to contact you or pass your application to the employer. Optional fields can simply be skipped.
Do not share passwords, SMS verification codes, card or bank account numbers, tax file numbers or images of ID with TalentCurlew. TalentCurlew has no use for them, will not request them and removes them if they are sent anyway.
To reply to your application and send role details, to pass your application to the employer for the role you picked, to answer questions sent by email or WhatsApp, to keep records of applications and conversations, to handle complaints and misuse, and to comply with the law.
No. TalentCurlew never sells or rents personal information, and applying does not add you to any marketing list. If a different employer might suit you better, TalentCurlew will ask first and share nothing for that purpose unless you agree.
Only the people at TalentCurlew who handle applications, plus the employer behind your chosen role. TalentCurlew names the employer and explains what will be shared before any introduction is made.
Cloudflare hosts and secures talentcurlew.com and forwards email sent to TalentCurlew. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, so your browser loads them from Google. WhatsApp, owned by Meta, carries messages between you and TalentCurlew HR. Each works under its own terms. If TalentCurlew adds another service, such as a form tool or advertising tag, it will be named here before it is used.
Only where a law requires it, or where the law permits it and it is reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or protect someone's rights.
Applying to TalentCurlew has two steps: the form, then a WhatsApp message to HR. Our button only opens WhatsApp with suggested text to the TalentCurlew HR number shown in the chat header. It is not sent until you press Send yourself. No WhatsApp? Write to careers@talentcurlew.com and TalentCurlew will arrange another option.
Not for advertising or analytics. The TalentCurlew hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to filter out bots. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and talentcurlew.com will still work.
Not at present. As of the date above, talentcurlew.com has no advertising tags, remarketing or analytics installed. If that changes, TalentCurlew will first update this section with the provider's name, what it receives and your choices. Your name, phone number and email are never placed in tracking events or links.
Some of TalentCurlew's providers, such as Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp, process data outside Australia, including in the United States. TalentCurlew applies the Australian Privacy Principles to these disclosures, and you can ask careers@talentcurlew.com for more information.
TalentCurlew keeps application records for no more than twelve months after the last genuine contact about a role, then deletes them. Ask and TalentCurlew will delete earlier; records are kept longer only if required by law or an open dispute. Server logs usually expire within 30 days.
talentcurlew.com uses HTTPS, and only the people handling applications can open them. No system is perfect, so if a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, TalentCurlew will notify you under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Not always. An employer or WhatsApp may keep its own copy, which TalentCurlew does not control. TalentCurlew will tell you who to contact.
Yes. Email careers@talentcurlew.com to access, correct or delete your details, withdraw your application or raise a concern. TalentCurlew may check your identity, aims to reply within 30 days and will explain if something cannot be done. Withdrawing cannot reverse an introduction already made.
Let TalentCurlew know and your record will be updated.
No. A person at TalentCurlew reads every application, and the employer decides who is hired.
TalentCurlew roles are intended for adults. Information about a child that reaches TalentCurlew will be deleted.
Write to careers@talentcurlew.com explaining your concern. TalentCurlew will look into it and respond in writing, and if you remain dissatisfied, a person at TalentCurlew with no earlier involvement will review the matter afresh.
TalentCurlew asks for your preferred role so the right details and training reach you and the application goes to the matching employer. Not sure yet? Mention it when you message TalentCurlew HR and they will talk you through each role first. Until an introduction has happened, you can switch roles by sending a WhatsApp message or writing to careers@talentcurlew.com.
TalentCurlew keeps the chat so HR can see what was already discussed and avoid asking you twice. Messages are read only by people handling applications. You can ask TalentCurlew to delete the conversation from its side at any time, although your own copy and WhatsApp's records are managed by you and by WhatsApp. TalentCurlew never forwards your chat to marketing companies.
Changing your mind is fine. Tell TalentCurlew HR on WhatsApp or write to careers@talentcurlew.com, and TalentCurlew will end contact about roles, make no new introductions and remove your information as described under retention, except anything TalentCurlew is legally obliged to keep.
TalentCurlew relies on the details you give, so please check them before you submit. If HR notices something that looks wrong, such as a mistyped number, TalentCurlew will ask you to confirm it on WhatsApp rather than guess. You can correct your details at any time by messaging HR or writing to careers@talentcurlew.com.
TalentCurlew may revise this policy and will show the new date above. Where required by law, TalentCurlew will notify you before a change affects information it already has.
